“I had been having problems with my legs over a number of years, beginning with discomfort and gradually leading on to severe pain. Three of my siblings had passed away over the space of fifteen years from a shared condition called myopathy mitochondria. The stress of their passing and managing day to day life led to a breakdown with the main symptom being severe anxiety.
